Helicopter Fun Fly April 30th, 2006

The First Contest of the year and the first Helicopter Fun fly Contest was held April 30th. Bill Koczman and Bob Lafayette co-CD’d the events in which 8 contestants participated. Bill and Bob thank everyone who participated and worked to make this contest the success that it was. Mike Lucier and Brian Harris worked the events. The events were a timed 2 minute hover, a race to knock 6 bottles down with the helicopter landing skid in the least amount of time, to pick up a small weight with landing skid and move it to a new position, a drag race from one end of runway to the third spot and a timed 5 minute free flight. The top 5 finishers were

A lunch of cold cut sandwiches was served. Everyone had a great time.
